Thank you for your response.  I did not say that I consider the practice unethical, only that I question the ethics, particularly since Google considers it unethical (but not does not currently devote resources to fighting it.)  I explicitly called for others who have an ethical justification for the practice to offer it.  You did so.  Thank you.  I don't intend to form a final opinion on the matter, but your response is much more worthy of respect than being told to leave politics.

I had hoped to get an intelligent discussion of this topic going, to get the sort of informed response that you offered, for which again thanks.
