In the linked story, I found this quote from Tim Roemer ludicrous:

"We need a chair who doesn't only represent the Democratic wing of the Democratic Party,"

Was that quote accurate?

I'm all for a big tent, as I've state before, but an ambassador for the freakin' Republican wing of the Democratic Party?

I was there and I heard him say "I don't only represent the Democratic wing of the Democratic party." I wrote the same thing you did - glad to hear that he's standing up for being a Republican.
