The program ended there, and Art Torres thanked everyone.  He said "this has been the most well-behaved caucus I have ever been at."

I think Art and other state party and DNC types expected --- based on stereotype --- that the DFA crowd would be "barbarians at the gate," but we actually showed ourselves to be "fresh horses" ready to help Dean revitalize the Democratic Party. And, keep in mind, by a pretty reliable estimate (see my MyDD caucus report), 400-450 of the 600 in attendance were Dean supporters.

So, while some Deaniacs can get a bit overzealous while blogging, the bottom line is that we are the most dedicated and passionate Democrats in the party, willing to do everything we can for it as long as we are given a legitimate seat at the table that respects our grassroots commitment.

That "seat" is now the DNC Chair.
