From my state

Cathy Rodgers district is pretty hard right, lots of Evangelical WingNuts...

But, Sherrif Dave Reichert's district has a lot of business Republicans, I think whomever runs against him, or even the state of WA democratic party should IMMEDIATELY go on the offensive, is Sherrif Dave a Birther!

What a sack, he is SUCH a weasal.

Re: The House GOP and the Birthers

We need to remind the American public that this is the kind of stuff we will be getting all the time if Republicans regain the House in 2010.

Is that the guy

from CallingAllWingnuts?  I loved that guy's call-ins.  The hosts would get so mad.

yes, same guy

I remember Steve Gilliard writing that Jim Webb owes his Senate seat to Mike Stark. Not long after the "macaca" incident, Stark confronted Allen and asked him a question no journalist would have dared to ask: "Have you ever used the word 'nigger'?"

Of course Allen lied in front of a group of journalists, which set off a round of MSM stories exposing Allen as a liar who had of course used that offensive word frequently in the past. It reinforced a narrative that started with "macaca" and helped drag Allen down. He only lost that election by a whisker.

Re: yes, same guy

I thought that was one of Mike's better days.  I thought the incident where he tried to bait Allen's security people into a physical confrontation was not one of his better days.
