Re: California Results Thread

I know LA is going to be big for Clinton.

Where is Obama going to draw from to overcome this?  I am just honestly asking.

Re: California Results Thread

My guess is SF/Marin. Though Marin's numbers are already part of the count.

Re: California Results Thread

To answer my own question...maybe Oakland?

Re: California Results Thread

Alameda County contains Oakland. Not sure if they have results yet.

Re: California Results Thread

No Oakland (Alameda) results yet.

Obama only leads Marin by 1,000 votes.  That doesn't look good.

Re: California Results Thread

Hmm.  Hillary's dropped 2 points, but Obama's still the same (from the last Cali thread).  Edwards gaining?

Re: California Results Thread

Keep in mind that CA allows early voting so many of those votes probably went to Edwards before he dropped out.

Re: California Results Thread

Not so good, but at least he's winning Utah, I guess the outlying regions started coming,or maybe SLC?

Ha... damn. C'mon Obama just a little more.

Re: California Results Thread

totally early - see http://vote.ss.ca.gov for district counts - they are mostly with zero precincts reporting.

California

Although San Fran and Oakland are still to come, just looking at all these other counties over on CNN, it looks like a loss for Obama. The only way I could see Obama coming close is if for some reason they are counting the absentees first. But I don't see why that would be. And even then, I doubt he can win. California seems like it will be the blight on an otherwise good Obama night. That will probably leave it a draw or a slight Clinton night overall.

Re: California

Yep she won all the Bentleys and he won all the Prius's with exception of IL which counts as a Bentley.

Can we get one California thread instead of two?

Is Zogby Really a Pollster?

What's more reliable - a Zogby poll or picking random numbers out of a hat?

Looks like CA is answering that question tonight, pretty definitively.

Re: Is Zogby Really a Pollster?

Let's not forget Rasmussen as a pollster with egg on his face for showing Obama winning California as well.

Re: California Results Thread

I called it for Clinton about 1/2 an hour ago. Looking at the early results and where they're coming from, it appears her support is very broad based.

Re: California Results Thread

The CNN exit poll also showed that women turned out 54%, men at 46%.

18-29 year olds were only 16% of the vote.

30-44 year old were 25%

60+ were 28%

If that is true, Clinton will win.

Re: California Results Thread

I knew California is Clinton Country- those polls were bizarre, I had faith they were wrong.  But after New Hampshire, I stopped seriously considering them anyway.

Holy Shit

Not to clog the thread....

Kieth just alluded that MSNBC will call California for Clinton!

He said it might pull away , and Matthews said "you know more than you say, sir."

If their exits are close to CNN's, then it is looking like a big night for Clinton in CA.

Re: California Results Thread

He won more states but she won the two big ones.  Unforunately, it's still anyone's game at this point.

Re: California Results Thread

Big states and BLUE states with a lot more Super delegates. HRC is still ahead but it is razor thin.
